Entry Level Robot Programmer
We are looking for entry level Robot Programmers with a willingness work and learn in the automation industry. Must be dependable and willing to travel.
Job description: An entry level Robot Programmer is expected to take direction of robotic tasks under the direction of a senior Robot Engineer. This position is intended to develop programmers and learn the necessary programming cadence of an automated system. This position is required to work at customer sites and locations. Shift work is required.
Responsibilities:
– Learn to take robot from power on to production
– Learn to create new robot programs using the teach pendant
– Dress and teach others how to properly dress a robot to prevent damage or rubbing.
– Learn to program Fanuc Position Speed Check (Advanced DCS)
– Learn how to debug robot interfaces
– Learn different applications in a bodyshop robotic system
– Learn to create and load controller backups, robot images, MD, and backup all backups
– Provide plant support and assist in instructing plant trades on the operation and recovery of robot applications and systems
– A willingness to adjust robot end of arm tooling and tooling the robot interfaces with.
Must have:
– Technical education or background
– Must be self-motivated and willing to learn
– Able to take direction from others
– Able to work as a team or with limited supervision
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
– Must be able to engage with customers in a professional manner.
– Travel is required
– Must have dependable transportation
Nice to have:
– An engineering degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Robotics or Mechatronic is preferred
– Experience in robot guided vision a plus
– Experience with robot guided picking, placing, and part inspection.
– AIA certification
– Knowledge of Fusion 360
– Knowledge of PLC Controls
– Fanuc Experience
– Fanuc DCS certified
– GM GRS certified
